Catching Up

I had cataract surgery for both eyes in the last 6 weeks and I am now finally back at work.

The "glacier" pendant will be cast this week in sterling, as will be a turquoise and bronze pendant. I had done a lot of work on them before the surgery and was finally able to finish them. It felt really good to be back at work.

I have been able to work on my Pandemic Shadow photographs and there is one of the newer ones below. I'm thinking about a pendant that will be a shadow design. It's a fascinating thought. there is usually very little cross over between my 2 art forms. The gallery for them is at https://www.instagram.com/laurie_toby_edison

I'm going to be working on a stick pin with a beautiful piece of dichroic glass. And I'm currently working on a tiger eye with flames in a pendant. I just got some marvelous new stones and if they photograph OK I'll be putting up some pictures.

The bird in the photo below is a cormorant. I've taken up bird watching during the pandemic, although it hasn't shown up in my jewelry yet.
