Working in Wax
Mar. 25th, 2018 09:06 pmI'm back from everything and have caught up and am very happily anticipating carving waxes and working in metal..
Photo of my jewelry is the one I sent to Worldcon for their web photos.

Chatoyant malachite and lapis pendant, sterling Chinese dragon, red druze and opal astronomical, gear work pendant with pearls, antique Victorian and Chinese glass and chalcapyrite set in bronze. Most of the designs are substantially larger in life. Stone pendants are 2.5 to 3".
I am happy with the photo but all of the stones are more beautiful then the photo and the opal far more brilliant. Lighting so they _all_ showed well meant that none of them looked quite as striking as they are. I needed this photo to be a group of designs, but this is also why I usually shoot work individually.
