I'm leaving tomorrow. It's been too long and I'm really looking forward to Baycon.  These are two of the one-of-a- kind pendants that I'm bringing. Please click on images for best photo.

New Stones

I was lucky enough to get a stunning group of new stones, including Ethiopian opals and lapis and chalcedony, pyrite, amethyst and a gorgeous large fresh water pearl.

Unfortunately, too many of them weren't photographable. But these two stones were.

I'm polishing the pendant for the Ray Mine Silica, I put up the photo last time. And I'm polishing the pendant for a lovely ammonite with a pink tourmaline eye. Once again not photographable.

And I've been working on a dragon with gorgeous Hungarian garnets that I seem to be changing my design mind about in small ways.

Apologies for not posting sooner. I've been concentrating on making new designs pretty intensely.

I've designed a pendant for this Ray Mine Silica. The green is chatoyant malachite. Its about 2.5" long and it will be in sterling silver. I love Ray Mine Silica.

All of these pieces are finished in wax but not yet cast.

This will be a new ring. The stone is lapis, azurite and jasper and is a unusual and rare combination. The design is in sterling silver and the stone is about 3/4" high.

And this is beautiful piece of Pietersite. It's even lovelier than the photo. It's about 1/2" high and will also be a sterling silver ring.

I'll be putting up photos of some of the new work when it's cast and set. Right now I'm doing some technical pre-casting work.

These are images of two new rings that I just finished. I'm about to make  a number of my smaller pieces for Chicago. I'm starting to get excited
about going. I'll have some amazing dichroic glass by Nancy Pearlman that I'll be showing here before I go. I feel incredibly lucky to have them to work with.

A flint knapped arrow head. Knapping is the very ancient way of working flint

I'm going back to work. Good night.
