Fire Salamander Design

I posted a photo of this stone a while ago with several other stones. Bayla Fine saw it and conceived of a fire salamander pendant because of the coloration of the stone. It would not have occurred to me and it was perfect!. it was very inspiring to make and i love doing reptiles among many other creatures. Sometimes commission ideas can be particularly splendid if they push me in an inspiring unplanned direction.

There are two photos below because I couldn't light this to show the stone well and the design well in the same photo. But they look like the combination in life.
