Dichroic Glass Choices
Dec. 5th, 2020 09:07 pmI've been looking at some of the stunning dichroic glass cabochons that I have. They were made by the remarkable glass artist Nancy Pearlman.
They are very hard to photograph because they have complex three dimensional color. It's not possible to photograph all the vivid levels of the glass cabochon.
I'm trying to decide which one to work with of these two, and it's a difficult choice. I would set either one in silver (maybe black silver) and the design would emerge working with the piece. The stones are about 1.5" to 2". This is not a commission but a one of a kind designs for whoever loves it.

..
I think I'll contemplate them a while longer. I love looking at them
