Thinking About Opals and Other Things

I still can't work but my wrist is healing well, so I'm looking at stones and thinking about design.

I have a group of beautiful fire opals, mostly small, that I'm looking at tonight.  The background on most of them is a clear orange and they are shot with red and greens. I'm also playing with some long almost wing shaped pearls and thinking about birds.

I shot a group of photographs of the Opal Disc World  sculpture.  I should be able to put them up in about a week.  I loved making the elephants.

And I have enough friends helping me set up at the home show in San Francisco on the 13th.  So it shouldn't be too hard.
