I put up this stone's photo last week and it was immediately commissioned as a pendant.  It will have flames coming out of the sides and a salamander resting on some of the flames on one side, with a (probably) flaming tail. The salamander needs to be quite small, the body no more than 1.5".

I will need tiny toes on all four feet and that is going to be interesting to make.  It will be a lot of very precise work. I'm not sure what kind of lovely markings it will have on the body. I'll be looking at  lots of images of salamanders to soak them up and decide. It may be very subtle. I'm leaning that way right now but that could easily change.

I'm excited about making it and Bayla Fine, who commissioned it for her collection, had a beautiful idea for the flames and salamander. It works  really well with the stunning stone.  The small square clear part at the top is rock crystal and the stone itself is condor agate.
