Working on Bronzite Pendant and More
Mar. 14th, 2022 08:37 pmThis is the first time I've worked with bronzite. It's quite stunning. I just got it a couple of weeks ago.

The design is almost finished in wax. Just the very technical points left. As occasionally happens, the design when I sat down to carve became something different then I expected. i love that when it happens.
I also have a tigereye with flames in the stone. Something I haven't seen before in about the same stage.
And after all these years of working with tigereye I've never see one with flames inside it before.
And I'm about to start working on a stick pin with a dichroic glass cabuchon that's incredibly beautiful. I rarely make stick pins so this will be a good challenge.
It feels great to be carving again.
