Gorgeous Diacritic Glass

laurieopalI was fortunate, a number of years ago, to get three of Nancy Pearlman's diacritic art glass creations to work with (when she retired) . I still have one because I didn't want to see the last one go.
I just saw her today, and was very fortunate to get three of her creations that she had kept all this time. Photos are below they are from 1/2" to 2". I'm very excited to have them so unexpectedly, and I'm feeling very inspired about designs. The colors move like opals in the blue ones and they are even more vivid in life.
Right now I'm carving a design for a beautiful kuroit opal. But tomorrow I will have my down time.
