Lots of Work
Apr. 2nd, 2019 10:57 pmI've finished the opal design with a waterfall and Japanese print influenced mountain. It looks wonderful, the waterfall has scattered turquoise diamonds that reflect the stunning coloration of the opal.
And I'm finishing (very soon) an astronomical with a black druze center and small diamond stars.
As people know, I put a lot of design and thought into how to express the tadpole galaxy, since I was reflecting something both diaphanous and often transparent in silver. I'm getting to do it again for a astronomical design with a dark moldavite in the midst of a nebula with small precious stone stars. Moldavite was created by a meteorite impact in southern Germany (Nördlinger Ries Crater) that occurred about 15 million years ago. I'm excited to be using the design thoughts and skills that I developed so recently for this kind of representation and interpretation.
